OceanXperience puts visitors in the driver’s seat of a personalized adventure. Climbing aboard an interactive replica of OceanXplorer, the most advanced research and filmmaking vessel in the world, visitors choose a mission tailored to their interests.
As visitors explore the vessel and enjoy hands-on STEM-based research tasks, their journey is tracked and enhanced with RFID technology. The adventure culminates in an interactive facilitated HoloLab experience and powerful cinematic scenes in the immersive area.

The most compelling rooms from the vessel have been recreated in the exhibition to give visitors a sense of actually being an Xplorer onboard OceanXplorer, including:

OceanXperience is a traveling exhibition based on a forthcoming television series produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit and OceanX in association with Earthship Productions for National Geographic, created and toured internationally by Flying Fish.
